Trough a new home security system SafeMart provides better safety to homeowners. This comes after Airbnb addressed its own liability because of #ransackgate and announced an insurance package up to USD 50,000 to cover customer's homes.
The home security system designed for Airbnb consists of SafeMart's LiveWatch interactive alarm monitoring and Plug & Protect delivery. It can be controlled remotely and activated in less than 30 minutes, says Joseph Thomas, SafeMart's Director of Technology.
The new home security system will allow people to use Airbnb's service without worrying about vandalism or theft. This is because the home security system includes remote monitoring of rooms with valuables in addition to environmental monitoring (protecting against freeze, fire, smoke, flood and carbon monoxide).
Using the home security system with remote control, Airbnb renters will be able to safeguard their homes from anywhere in the world. Police and fire departments will be accessible on call for just USD 29.90 per month, about 50% less than what other industry competitors' offer.
